Finance has been my jam, mostly because money is fundamental to many people's lives.

I'm particularly drawn to the large, messy problems with moving parts. I like finding how everything connects - the tech, the teams and the decisions. I also work well with regulations; the constraints are usually there to protect people, and that means the work matters.

I fell into UX/product design at PayPal in France and the UK, where I worked on the peer-to-peer payment experience. There I experienced first hand the rigour behind every design decision to solve customers' problems. Upon returning to Australia, I continued working in projects at scale: payment terminal redesign for Australia Post outlets across the country, then 8 years at ANZ, where I developed my specialisation in identity and customer authentication, designing experiences to help protect customers' money and data.

When I'm designing, I care about how the tech works so I know where I can push for customers. I like connecting people into the same work to maximise effort, and I lead with what's best for customers then work back to what's feasible.
